Noel joined the firm in 2006 and concentrates his practice in contentious court matters across Family law, Criminal law and Civil Litigation. He advises on all aspects of family litigation matters from Maintenance and Access matters in the District Court to Judicial Separation and Divorce in the Circuit Court. He regularly appears to defend clients in Road Traffic, Public Order and Drug Offences. He is a panellist on both the Legal Aid Board Private Practitioner Scheme for Family Law and the Criminal Legal Aid Panel.
Noel’s practice also covers Licensing matters where he has represents off-licenses, restaurants, bars and hotels in relation to new licence applications, as well as renewals.
Noel studied for his BCL at UCC, and proceeded to obtain a Higher Diploma in Management and Marketing from the same institution.
Outside of the legal arena, Noel’s interests are very much sport-orientated, playing rugby with Crosshaven R.F.C. and volunteering his spare time as a member of the Irish Water Safety Association as an Instructor in First Aid and Water Safety and a Beach Risk Assessor. In 2010, Noel was appointed to the Irish Water Safety Association Legal Commission.
